Rang a 2 really enjoyed making loom bands with their 6th class buddy!

Rang a 2 and a 3 had a very heated debate about uniforms in the halla. Both teams put up some excellent arguments! A draw was called in the end. Maith sibh!

Rang a 2 loved the obstacle course rang a 6 set up for friendship week.

Rang a Sé had a ball today making loom band bracelets with their buddies in Rang a Dó. We can’t wait to watch out for our buddies around the school, help them settle in and to make them feel welcome in Harold Boys’ National School!

Rang a Sé finally got their turn to design and lay out a fantastic and challenging obstacle course for the younger classes to celebrate friendship week! Rang a Sé did a great job and everyone had lots of fun trying the obstacle course out.

On Wednesday, rang a sé took our first trip of the year to Kilmainham Gaol! We had a great time learning more about the Irish War of Independence and the Civil War and seeing the infamous jail for ourselves.

Rang a ceathair enjoyed their first trip to Dalkey Library last Friday. Some boys sat inside and some sat out in the lovely reading garden. Lots of books were borrowed for class D.E.A.R (drop everything and read) time!!

Rang a Dó have game time on Fridays as a treat for all the hard work they do every week.

Rang a Dó agus a Trí started basketball with Ed every Thursday. The boys are loving it!

On Wednesday Rang a 2 had their first trip to Dalkey library. Some of us got our first ever library card and learnt how to use the machine to take out books. We found our photos in the window of 'Our Lady's Hall' on way back to school. We are famous!

Today went went to visit the James Joyce tower and made sandcastles on the Sandycove beach. A lovely second last day for rang a 3!

Rang a 3 have been busy learning the cup song as Gaeilge. We even learnt how to move the cup in time to the music. Maith sibh rang a 3!

The talent show was a great success this year. The entries from rang a 3 were super!

Congratulations to all the boys from Rang a Cúig who entered the talent show this year! We certainly have a talented class and it’s not always easy to stand up in front of the whole school to show it off. A special congratulations to one of our boys from Rang a Cúig who came in joint third place!

A big well done to these boys for taking part in this year’s HBNS Talent Show. So brave to stand up and perform in front of the whole school!

With summer just around the corner, the boys brought their teddy bears to school for a picnic up Killiney Hill. The playground was great fun too!

The boys’ creativity was very impressive for the sandcastle competition at our local beach, Sandycove.
