We had a great time picking litter for our annual spring clean. Each class covered a different area of Dalkey, so we had a great spread across our locality. Well done for keeping our town tidy boys!

Penalty Shootout Final
The boys had a super time in the annual penalty shootout for Active Week! Congratulations to the boys who got through to the final round from each class and a special congratulations to our fifth class pupil who was the overall winner!

Staff v Rang a Sé Basketball Match
The boys had a fantastic time cheering on Rang a Sé as they went head-to-head with staff in our annual basketball match for Active Week! Well done to Rang a Sé who played brilliantly - and a special congratulations to the staff team who managed to pip them at the post for a very close 17 - 16 point win!

Binning It Better
This week our Green Schools committee had the opportunity to test their skills and brush up their knowledge of rubbish sorting and responsible recycling through the ‘Bin it Better’ workshop. The boys impressed our visitor with their existing knowledge and learned a lot about how they can encourage people around them at home and in school to “Bin it Better”. Well done boys!

Great start to active week!

Active Day
The whole school really enjoyed 'Active Day' today. We were so lucky with the weather! Activities included; tag rugby, den building, archery, team building, balancing and the slip and slide.

What clubs are you in?
In our recent ASF survey we could see that our students are heavily involved in sports with outside clubs. At Harold Boys' N. S. we think this is fantastic and want to continue to encourage outside school sports and develop links with these clubs where possible.

ASF Parent Survey
The results are in for our Active School Flag parent survey. Thank you to the 30 parents who completed it. The headlines are: 60% of parents said they do not get enough information about their child's progress in PE. Teachers will ensure to give more feedback on PE at PT meetings. Only 33% of parents said that their child received PE homework. Teachers will give an activity sheet every Wednesday that must be signed by parents. 73% of parents have not visited our ASF page. We
