Green Schools The standard of our Recycled Christmas Decorations this year was superb and the judges had an extremely tough job choosing a winner to send to Dun Laoghaire County Hall for the Christmas ceremony. Congratulations to Jude Webb (6th class) whose Ribbon Christmas Tree was chosen. The rest of the entries will be on display in December in the shop window of Roberts of Dalkey so we would like to give a big thanks to them for giving us help with our Green Schools efforts!
Third class went on a mini beast hunt as part of their Biodiversity classwork. They caught some insects for identification in the school garden and around our bug hotel! Have a look at the pictures on Ms Crowley’s third class blog at https://haroldbns.blogspot.ie/ Also be sure to check out our Green Schools blog at http://hbnsgreenschools.weebly.com/ for regular updates and pictures of our Green School in action!
