The Sixth Class boys take part each year in the monthly litter picking around Castle Street in Dalkey. The boys, armed with litter pickers and plastic sacks meet with the Dalkey Tidy Towns volunteers and pick up litter where they are needed. LISBON TREATY DEBATE
On 25 of September Sixth Class invited two councillors into our school yo talk about the Lisbon Treaty. Then we asked them questions. The cllrs who came in were Stephen Fitzpatrick and Richard Boyd Barrett. Stephen Fitzpatrick was for the Yes side and Richard Boyd Barrett was for the No side.

Saint Joseph’s Boys ‘ A.F.C. ran a course entitled “Football Against Racism” for the Fifth and Sixth classes. In conjunction with this, the boys formed two teams and went to play five-a-side soccer on behalf of Mozambique, in Loughlinstown Leisure Centre.
