Harold Boys’ N.S. had a brilliant day this year at the Cumann na mBunscoil track events at Morton Stadium, Santry. Our boys were in four finals! Eoin Molloy was in the final of his sprint. And the Under 11s, 12s and 13s went through into their finals. Fantastic!
The boys had a fantastic day at the Cuala Blitz in Thomastown Football pitches on Tuesday 1st June. We had two teams, green and blue for Fifth class, and Fourth class were in maroon. Fourth class made it to the semi final, well played boys! The Fifth class Blue team won silver medals. Well done!!
Fourth and Fifth class took part in the Creative Classrooms Programme organised by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown and Blackrock Education Centre. This was a fantastic opportunity for the boys to work with an artist Claire Halpin, for twelve sessions. Our chess team played in the Leinster Schools Chess Association League Final on Saturday 24th April in Gonzaga College. The boys played brilliantly and managed to come in second place. Great result!
The Harold Boys’ N.S. tennis team from Fifth and Sixth class have won three out of their four matches. They won against St. Mary’s Donnybrook, Star of the Sea and St. Mary’s Booterstown. Losing only to St. Mary’s College. Well done boys!
The Fifth and Sixth class boys took part in our annual sponsored Swim For GOAL on Wednesday 24th March in Marion College Swimming Pool. The boys swam an amazing 679 lengths which is 16.98km! Many thanks to Marie Kellehan who was our swimming instructor for the event.

Fifth Class were given the generous opportunity of a tour of the Dalkey Heritage Centre free of charge. Many thanks to the staff, who gave the boys a wonderful tour, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. And they learnt so much!
