Saint Joseph’s Boys ‘ A.F.C. ran a course entitled “Football Against Racism” for the Fifth and Sixth classes. In conjunction with this, the boys formed two teams and went to play five-a-side soccer on behalf of Mozambique, in Loughlinstown Leisure Centre.

5th and 6th Class are talking part in Gealic Football League organised between local schools. We played our first matches on Wed 23rd September and won both matches.

Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth classes had their Cuala blitz matches this week in Thomastown Football pitches. The boys played their hearts out!! Second and third class won silver and Fifth class came home with gold and silver medals. Brilliant!!

We had a fabulous day at Morton Stadium in Santry on Wednesday 10th June. We brought four teams, unfortunately we did not bring home any medals, just good memories!
Congratulations to James Bailey from Fifth class who got into the final of the under 12s sprint race. Well done!

We lost our second match today to the Harold Glasthule. Hard luck boys. So it all hinges on the next match, yet to be arranged, since the competition is best out of five. Good luck lads!
