FUNDING for the School is needed now more than ever. The cost of heating the school for example has risen this year. We are very grateful to those people who in recessionary times have sent in the Voluntary Contribution and urge everyone to do so in the near future.

Harold Boys Dalkey was entered in the Tidy Schools In the Community Competition 2009 in association with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and we achieved an excellent overall mark of 86.5%.

We had yet another fantastic Talent Show on the last day of term. The boys were brilliant. Such talent!! We had wonderful solo singing and playing of the piano, we had fairy stories, we had song and dance routines, we had jokes and much more! And we had the amazing Sixth Class Has Talent [...]

The first Green Flag in Dalkey was raised on Monday 25th May by Minister Mary Hanafin. All of the pupils and staff of Harold Boys’ N.S. were there t0 celebrate their hard work. The boys’ parents and members of our local community joined in the celebration also. Well done everybody!

The Sixth class are currently working on an animation movie production of the novel Holes by Louis Sachar.
