Science Open Evening: On January 29th 2019 we will be holding our Science Open Evening as part of our Discover Primary Science Award of STEM Excellence Project. Please come along and see our science exhibitions on display in each classroom.

Christmas Cards: Every boy designed a card and was able to order a complete set of his own design. These proved very popular and raised €1,450 for the Parents’ Association. We look forward to this again next year.

Road Safety outside the School: You can help in the following ways:
• Comply with the Voluntary One-Way System. Please drive in the direction of
Castle St. to Carysfort Rd. only.
• Yield at the YIELD sign outside the school gate.
• Never park in the SET DOWN area. This is a pick up/drop off point for 8.50 am & 2.30pm.
• Do not park on Double Yellow lines on St. Patrick’s Road.
• Do not park in neighbours’ driveways.
• Please arrange to meet your son across the road at 2:30pm and not outside the gate.

Reporting your son’s absence: All absences must be recorded in writing & sent to your son’s teacher. Please do not phone Ms Doyle to explain why your son is absent. You may find it useful to complete the absence notes on page 109 of your son’s Homework Journal.

Scríobh Leabhar / Write a book: All pupils are now busy writing for the annual competition. We look forward to seeing their books on display during our Open Evening.
