Our School Tour to Baltinglass May 2005

First we had to go to Cuala for the bus at 7.00am. I was the second person waiting for the bus. At 7.30am we took off, waiting for the best experience of my life! We were singing on the way there songs like 100 Bottles of Beer On The wall and lots lots more. Any way we got there finally.

We went in and got sorted into teams. My team did canoeing first. It was great fun. And at the end of canoeing he put us all into a boat and capsized it. It was really hard to put on a wet suit and life jacket. After that we did archery. The Hawks my team won. I love archery anyway. After that we had dinner: chicken nuggets and chips and after that we played for about one hour. I played No Mans Land in the tennis court. After that we were back on track.

Then we did orienteering. We went up to the forest and we got maps and stamp cards. We went around to checkpoints and there was a machine at each of them that stamps your card. We came back to the centre. We went wall climbing. I was not able to make it to the top. Next I went outside to do absailing. It is scary at the start but not in the middle.

Finally we went home in the bus watching school of rock. This was the best day of my life.
