6th Class Win the Cuala Blitz!
On Wednesday, 23rd May a triumphant 6th class team led the school to
victory in the Cuala Blitz 2007! The final between ourselves and
Glasthule was absolutely nail- biting! Our boys showed from the start
that they were hungry for a win and with pure dedication and
commitment they succeeded! Although the whole team were a credit to
our school, two players in particular deserve a special mention.
Conor Mullallly and Fergus Spillane both played an incredible game
despite having injuries and we're very proud of them! It must also be
said that Shane Kelly did a great job as captain in encouraging and
supporting his team. Congratulations to all who took part- what a
wonderful way to end the year!
